The story begins as me and my family flew over to Guangzhou China during the school holiday in May 2017. As we arrived there the first place we visit is the famous Canton Tower. Canton Tower is the tallest building in Guangzhou approximately 604 meter tall. It is located at the heart of Guangzhou city. In the tower it is located the world's highest rotating restaurant at 424 meters, serving international buffet. During our visit there it is Summer and the weather is burning hot!
So make sure if you are planning to visit some places during summer remember to always keep yourself hydrated. Okay enough with the pep talk let's continue, next we proceed to have lunch at some Arab restaurant. Next we visited the Yuexiu Park where it is located the statue of 5 Rams. History tells that a long time ago , the city was a barren land with people who despite hard work were suffering from drought . One day five immortals in five-color garments came riding on five rams, playing their legendary music. The rams held sheaves of rice in their mouths. The immortals left the sheaves of rice for the local people, gave blessings to the city and left. The rams turned into stone and the city became a rich and popular place. Guangzhou got the name of the City of Rams and the City of Ears. After finished visiting all those historical places we went to the shopping street or they called it Beijing Lu, Lu is road in Chinese, that is the most excited place to visit! We shopped there before finally check in into our hotel.
here's a picture of me in front of the Ram Statue in Yuexiu Park and Canton Tower
On our third day there we got the chance to visit the tomb of late Saad Ibni Abi Waqqas who is our Prophet Muhammad SAW friend. He is the first person who introduced Islam in China in the early Tang Dynasty. We performed our Zuhur and Asar prayer at the mosque located in the area of the tomb. We are very lucky to get the chance to visit a Muslim Hero tomb in Guangzhou China.
The next day was our last day in Guangzhou so we went to visit another Jade show room and then have lunch and head to the airport to catch our flight back to Malaysia. We have a great time in China because we got to shop a lot and visit a lot of place. So I would like to rate Guangzhou with 10/10.
this is my travel log when I'm in Guangzhou
